It’s made from a big squeeze of PVA glue, a lot of glitter and warm water put in a jar and superglued shut. You shake the jar when you’re feeling angry, or any other strong emotion, and the glitter swirls like a physical representation of your emotions. As the glitter swirls focus on it and try an additional method of calming such as mindful breathing, then as the glitter calms and settles so should your emotions. If they don’t try again!

“I quite like reading if/when im struggling, it doesn’t necessarily make any urges go away but it gives me something else to focus on, and I’ve read forty books this year so clearly it’s doing something haha” – Anonymous
Music is my escape; I can’t live without it. My phone is always in my pocket, and I have so much to choose from. It helps me get through bad times
My cat always knows when I’m not happy. She comes and sit on me and purrs, then I just have to relax with her. Coz you can’t move when you have a cat on you!Â
This is my dog, she’s super cute and always gives me hugs when I need them. She’s the best!Â
I’m so lucky to have this, playing it always makes me feel better.Â
If I am sad, I put on my running shoes and go for a run, I like the way my mind wanders. You can see they’re well used. Lol.
When my emotions get the better of me, I like to go into the kitchen and bake. I think the routine helps calm my mind, I love the smell of the ginger cake and the best thing is I can share it with my family.Â
I like to make my own paintings of far away places, this is my latest painting

I write in my diary before bed. It helps me get all the difficult thoughts out of my head. So I can sleep better and can start fresh the next day
